The international cultural project HELPFUL ART IN COVID maps art from the Covid pandemic period in the world.
“The Helpful Art in Covid project and exhibition were inspired by a mask we placed on the Lennon Wall in Prague during the spring of 2020, at the height of the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic,” says artist Pavel Šťastný, the creator of the project and exhibition. “Everyone was required to wear a mask, so we symbolically placed one on the portrait of John Lennon on the wall, which has been a symbol of freedom and love in our country for decades. The photograph of the Lennon Wall with the mask spread worldwide and was published in hundreds of media outlets.”
The Washington Post used the photograph of the Lennon Wall with the mask to promote an online 40th-anniversary concert in honor of John Lennon, held on October 9, 2020, in New York to celebrate what would have been his 80th birthday. The image, distributed by the American press agency AP (Associated Press), was picked up by over 100 media outlets in the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Lebanon, Trinidad and Tobago, Bulgaria, and other countries.
The pandemic impacted all states, inspiring artists worldwide to respond with unique and specific creative expressions. Their works are remarkable, capturing the thoughts and impressions formed during this unprecedented time.
We have curated the international traveling exhibition Helpful Art in Covid not only as a gesture of gratitude to the artists but also to document and showcase the extraordinary outcomes of the creative process both in our country and globally.
The exhibition highlights the evolution of pandemic-related art, including paintings, graffiti, illustrations, posters, photographs, sculptures, design, videos, and various initiatives and campaigns. It also explores fascinating projects such as live-streamed concerts and discussions, drive-in cinemas and concerts, remotely produced music videos, iconic front pages of global media, and educational videos.
Etihad Museum
The successful co-production of the UAE flag Artwork recreation at Etihad Museum, brought together two iconic creators: H.E. Abdullah Mohamed Al Maainah, the original designer of the UAE flag in 1971, and artist Pavel Stastny, renowned for designing the iconic 'OF' Logo for Civic Forum during the Czech Republic’s liberation in 1989.
This collaboration united two symbols of national pride and freedom, celebrating Art & History.

As an Art Director, I take a holistic approach to orchestrating visually compelling photo shoots and product shoots. From envisioning the creative direction to ensuring seamless execution on site, I curate every detail to bring ideas to life.
My expertise lies in identifying unique and inspiring locations - hidden gems often overlooked, even by locals - that perfectly aligned with the project's aesthetic and narrative . Passion lies in On-Site direction of the photo or film shoots to ensure framing and composition align with the desire aesthetics , providing hands - on adjustments as needed.
